| | At age 11, Jeremy began working on video projects in the backyard. His passion for video and storytelling led him to start an award winning public access show at 15 that ran for two seasons. While producing his public access show he worked with some of Atlanta's premier wedding videographers learning the trade and skills from some of the metro area's finest. At 18 Jeremy created a documentary for a medical mission in Haiti that was viewed by a senior editor at Turner Studios. He in turn received an offer to work as a tape operator and eventually took on the role of assistant editor. During his employment at Turner he spent time on the weekends shooting and editing wedding videos, always honing his skills and concentrating on using story to create unique videos for his clients. In the summer of 2000, Jeremy left Turner to start his own production company, and traveled to Russia to create a documentary examining the lack of morals and ethics curriculum in the schools after the collapse of the Soviet Union. | That fall Jeremy began teaching film and video production at the Master's Academy of Fine Arts, a fine arts school for high school students, where he was able to share his production experience and creative expertise. Some of his students went on to Savannah College of Art & Design with high level scholarships due to the information gleaned in his classes. He has worked on many independent films as both a camera assistant and operator, shooting 35mm and 16mm film. His editing skills are versatile in both linear and industry standard non-linear editing environments. His work continues today utilizing the highest quality of high definition video equipment, to create corporate and event videos that help tell a unique story, and bring his client's message to the screen. |
