Nathan and Kellyn's romance wasn't the only thing heating up the muggy July night. It was a very warm 90 degrees right at sunset, but no rain in sight, which is always a plus for an outdoor wedding.

McMichael Wedding, McDonough GA

It was a beautiful wedding, our first time at the Hazlehurst house in McDonough, and with all new locations provides some exciting opportunities and challenges. We also had the opportunity to work first hand with Penny Colangelo, of Studio PKE in Tucker. We tend to work very closely with the photographer on the day of the wedding for obvious reasons. Because video is the "new kid on the block" compared to video, the photographer will sometimes feel that they have more of a "right" to capture the event. It's always refreshing to work with someone like Penny who is respectful of her where she is positioning herself we so we can both get the perfect shot.

Because we were shooting two weddings simultaneously, we had a limited amount of the memory cards that we use to shoot in HD. It made it challenging to run back and forth downloading the footage from one camera

Even the Georgia D.O.T could not put a damper on the day. Though the connector was shutdown for the summertime repaving projects, the delayed guests couldn't help but feel the love in the air as Natalie and Tyle made their commitment to join their lives together.

Indianapolis Wedding Video

This was our first wedding we've ever shot in Indiana. We were just outside Indianapolis to cover the marriage of Matt & Libby, two music teachers with a love for music and for each other.

As with every wedding there were unique challenges in capturing the ceremony. The church didn't have any specific restrictions for us, but the balcony was quiet small and so the sound guys, photographer and camera operator were basically all on top of each other. The other limitation was the beautiful windows that ran from near floor to ceiling in the sanctuary. While this makes a beautiful natural light source it does provide it's challenges for making sure the light color is consistent between the daylight outside and the interior lights of the sanctuary.

The reception was fantastic, the food was excellent and they had a great jazz quartet playing live music. A very romantic environment. This love story practically writes itself.
