In this trailer we really wanted to capture the feeling of movement, and through that, the significance that this commitment takes.

By drawing on Chad's movement we were hoping to create a sense of wonder through wandering. At the culmination of the verse, we are lead to see the weight and joy of taking this life long step of love, and commitment to his Everything.

I can't stress enough what a joy it was to work with chad and Laura. They were a hoot to be around, and really gave us the artistic freedom to tell their story the way we saw it.

enjoy the trailer!

Chad and Laura Cleveland TN, March 28, 2009

Chad and Laura's wedding was huge success, in spite of what I thought would be a very dreary day.

Leaving Atlanta was treacherous with heavy down pours, and I was certain that we wouldn't be able to get any of the amazing shots we had planned for the day. Since Chad makes his living in Video Production we all wanted to give him a super high quality video, and that meant being able to get some great shots outside.

Fortunately for us, the weather broke just as we left to shoot downtown, beautiful blue skies and puddles on the ground, you can't ask for a better combination.Consequently, we were able to get some amazing shots in downtown Cleveland, Tennessee. Daisy and Beau of Daisy Moffatt Photography were awesome to work with, they are easy going, and have a great sense of style. We really didn't feel the need to setup any shots with the Chad and Laura, because their poses were very dynamic. If you are looking for a photographer in the Chattanooga area I would highly recommend them.

James and Sam were in love with our surroundings and took a lot of time composing some fantastic shots. There is something that is pretty cool about shooting people dressed up in formal attire in front of a more grungy setting.

Chad and Laura were an absolute delight to shoot, and gave us the freedom to capture shots as we thought would be best for the camera. This is a luxury that we don't often get, and it allowed us to get some more intimate shots during the entire day of the wedding. We're very excited about this footage and are looking forward to the completed trailer which should be on the blog shortly.

Chad and Laura's story is a great one, and we're excited to share their love and images of the beginning of their new life together, so check back soon to watch it all!

And yes, we did discuss LOST

It was nice to meet with Greg and Esther. We filmed their interview at Esther's parents home, which was very cozy. I enjoyed getting to know Greg and Esther as individuals and as a couple. Their love story was very simple - they just knew they should get married because they are best friends. That is a really cool thing! It's refreshing to see a couple that just enjoys being together - even if it's just watching TV. So, yes, we did discuss TV shows and found out that Greg and Esther are LOST fans too, so that totally made them go up on our coolness scale!
